HELLO PEEPS!  WASSUP??... ENJOYING YOUR QUARANTINE WITH YOUR BLOODY NEGATIVE THOUGHTS? WELL, GUESS WHAT? SO AM I    Welcome to this clumsy blog post of mine. As the coronavirus cases are reaching its peak, Prime Minister Imran Khan is about to reveal his new U-Turn, Shehroz Sabzwari is enjoying his second colorful honeymoon, the neighboring country is facing some serious mental problems and Chutki is going through a disastrous heartbreak, people are finding Servis shoe ad more engaging than bloody online classes, and Umer Akmal, as usual, remains the material for trolling, let's talk about the increasing issues associated with mental health.    "WHAT? MENTAL HEALTH? AND YOU'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT?"      Well, if these are your questions, the answer to all of them is "YES". In this period of quarantine, our routines are disturbed. The owners of private schools are demanding the re-opening of their schools, as they don't have any other sources of incom

Love your haters

No matter how good you are, somebody is going to be against you, but never let them be the limit of your success.  When you are on the verge of getting something, you unintentionally develop haters, while there are many supporting you. Now there arises a need to deal with these haters. Getting upset and hating them alternatively, doesn't solve the problem. What should you do instead? I suggest, love them. I asked a friend, what if the whole world was full of optimists? He replied,  there would have been no discoveries, no inventions, and nothing productive.  Pessimists compel optimists to do extraordinary things. Pessimists are an essential part of life. Haters are more loyal There's no one more loyal to you than your hater. Your friend may not point out your shortcomings, in order not to hurt you, but your hater will, giving you the opportunity to improve it. They, most of the time, criticize you, to break you, but they are sometimes right as well. Pay heed t

CEME NUST, another aspect of story....

There has been a rise in the controversy that the students of the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, NUST are not treated nicely. However, I can assure that there is no other institution in Pakistan which can provide a healthy and grooming environment for the freshmen. They may provide you the advanced technology labs and buildings, but as a matter of fact, they will not train you for your better tomorrow as CEME does.      I am a student of CEME, and most importantly the most junior DE-40 in the CEME. I am against any of the rumors trying to damage the reputation of CEME, NUST. We are taught to be better persons for our society, we are taught to speak in front of public, we are taught to take responsibilities, we are taught to deal with the things calmly, we are taught to respect our elders and peers, we are taught to make decision quickly and precisely, we are taught to lead our life in a disciplined way.     As far as that so-called ragging is concerned,

We were Welcomed, when Military amplified the party

It was everything about getting us off the monotonous routine, but in the end, it increased our stress, as the welcome was followed by lab exams, quizzes and everything about academics.      Let's start with the preparations for the formal dinner. Our esteemed commandant (the officer in charge of the institution) arranged a formal dinner for formally welcoming us, as we are the new degree of his institution. Very few of us had attempted the formal dinner before, so it was going to be a new experience for us.      All males were told to wear suits on that pretty occasion. And females, however, had to wear any presentable dress. At last, the day came when we had to attend a formal dinner. Everyone gathered in front of the dining complex before 1900 hrs and later, we were allowed to enter the dining complex and choose where to sit. We had to eat after the commandant and finish before him. Whenever the commandant stopped, so did we. It was confusing at times. We all wer
