Everybody is losing their minds!!! So what??? What am I supposed to do? LOL!!

HELLO PEEPS!

WASSUP??... ENJOYING YOUR QUARANTINE WITH YOUR BLOODY NEGATIVE THOUGHTS? WELL, GUESS WHAT? SO AM I

Welcome to this clumsy blog post of mine. As the coronavirus cases are reaching its peak, Prime Minister Imran Khan is about to reveal his new U-Turn, Shehroz Sabzwari is enjoying his second colorful honeymoon, the neighboring country is facing some serious mental problems and Chutki is going through a disastrous heartbreak, people are finding Servis shoe ad more engaging than bloody online classes, and Umer Akmal, as usual, remains the material for trolling, let's talk about the increasing issues associated with mental health.

"WHAT? MENTAL HEALTH? AND YOU'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT?"

Well, if these are your questions, the answer to all of them is "YES". In this period of quarantine, our routines are disturbed. The owners of private schools are demanding the re-opening of their schools, as they don't have any other sources of income, the students are frustrated by the online education, as many students have internet problems, many of them cannot communicate their needs to the faculty, and many of them are just frustrated because they are not accustomed to this kind of bullshit (including me), the daily wagers find it difficult to feed their families three times a day. The whole country is in chaos, waiting for someone, rather some miracle to put this chaos in order. Well, forget about the safety precautions, you know them already, whether you act on them or not, and we are not here to talk about it.

"WE ALREADY KNOW THIS SHIT, WHAT'S THE POINT?"

The point, my dears is how we can manage to put order to this chaos and keep ourselves from these negative thoughts. Well, shit happens and it happens unexpectedly, and when it happens, it's all about us, how we manage this and keep ourselves away from negative emotions.

As I said earlier, our routines are disturbed, and we are focusing on the things we could be doing if we were not in this quarantine. Wandering all day about this only makes it a problem for our mental peace, and it also disturbs our relationship with other people.

The first step in maintaining your mental peace would be focusing on what's good, well I am not saying the shift of focus is easy, but don't let the uncertainty of this quarantine overwhelm you, instead focus on the activities you wanted to do when you were not in home, but you wanted to do. Or try new things while being inside your home, but don't stop teasing your siblings LOL.

The second step would be minimizing the use of social media. At times, social media can cure your need to get heard in this phase of quarantine, but its excessive use can lead to frustration and anxiety, because of empty-minded scrolling. Well TBH, no one can avoid it not even me, I see my phone, and the first thing I do empty-minded, is open Facebook, it built frustration for me in the past days NGL.

The third step would be focusing on the big picture, if you ever find yourself lost in the thoughts if this has become your life, just remember nothing lasts forever, and this quarantine is also temporary (Welcome to my philosophical side LOL), and by the increase of protests in Pakistan against the lockdown, it would be difficult for the govt. to hold them back for long.

The fourth step would be maintaining a healthy and secure connection with your loved ones through virtual means. Human beings are social beings, and we require social interactions for our growth, mental peace, and self-development (STFU Talha, you're ruining it).

Ah well, that's all I guess, that's all we need to do to keep ourselves from falling into deep depression. Please ignore the supplementary information provided in the parenthesis, this is my conscience and the voices inside my head.

If you like this blog post please share, and if you don't, and you're about to hit me up with comments because you're bored AF, please don't wait for anyone. Love y'all

CEME NUST, another aspect of story....

There has been a rise in the controversy that the students of the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, NUST are not treated nicely. However, I can assure that there is no other institution in Pakistan which can provide a healthy and grooming environment for the freshmen. They may provide you the advanced technology labs and buildings, but as a matter of fact, they will not train you for your better tomorrow as CEME does.      I am a student of CEME, and most importantly the most junior DE-40 in the CEME. I am against any of the rumors trying to damage the reputation of CEME, NUST. We are taught to be better persons for our society, we are taught to speak in front of public, we are taught to take responsibilities, we are taught to deal with the things calmly, we are taught to respect our elders and peers, we are taught to make decision quickly and precisely, we are taught to lead our life in a disciplined way.     As far as that so-called ragging is concerned,
